Hi James,

here are the steps for removing the SCP's:

1. Edit each method, in every User Class, in the application and
examine the Generate SCP toggle box.
2. If the toggle is checked, then uncheck and save the method. If not
checked then simply continue checking the methods.
3. Run "Generate All SCPs" from Workbench's tools menu. All existing
SCPs will be deleted by this process.
4. Then do a MakeImage on the application and make sure the Generate
SCP(s) toggle is unchecked.

There is SIR 110615 requesting: Add the ability to delete all SCPs from
an application.

Hope this helps,

Kerstin

Subject: [Openroad-users] Deleting SCP's

We have a small problem with SCP's. We "Generated All SCPs" using
OR4.1MR (yeh, yeh, don't lecture me). Later we exported the apps and
imported them into a couple of other databases. Now all the databases
have SCP's in them, though we want to use the "other" databases for
building client-server apps only. The problem is exasperated by the
fact that many of the SCP's fail to compile (strange, I know) and we
can't delete them under SP3.

Since there is the ability to generate all SCP's, is there an
undocumented way to remove all SCP's?

Am I going to have to export every component individually (all 3000 of
them), then import individually?

Regards,
James
