Hello Stephen,
Perhap's it is time to migrate your Payroll application to Ingres, think to
shift2ingres if it's a Java application :-)
More seriously, I know many things are possible via the Gateway but not all
what you said (not sure you can have a rule fired from Oracle so it could
not be automatic ...)
