Hi Richard.

I'm not sure what version of MSXML is available with the MainWin
runtime. I seem to recall that earlier version of MainWin didn't include
MSXML so it's entirely possible that it not available depending on the
version supplied.

However, if it is available, it should be discoverable from within
the workbench:

Using Workbench on your AIX machine, create a new external class
library.

The list of external class that MainWin support should be available in
the external class library editor.

    Hope this helps.

Ian.

Dear All,

Can anyone tell me which version of the MSXML dll comes bundled as part
of MAINWIN with this patch of Openroad ? We have installed it to our AIX
v5 server and we are using an set of modules that use this DLL to
validate an XML schema and we are using the validateonparse attribute.

We have a two versions of the software that we have tested on a Win2k
server which in turn use MSXML4 and MSXML5 dlls and both work properly
and do not error when using the validateonparse. We have been told that
this version of openroad for AIX has MSXML4 but this almost certainly
doesn't appear to be the case. We are thinking MSXML3 ? Can anyone shed
any light ? Or I suppose tell us a way of resgistering either of these
DLL's on AIX.

Many Thanks
