This looks like a DCOM authentication problem.

Try comtestrso from the client machine.

I normally use that to track down these kind of problems, because the SW-stack use is reduced to this single program.

Hi all,

I need to config visual studio to connect to OpenRoad App server that runs on another server.

Actual configuration :

 

1. Client with visual studio 2005

2. Server with Ingres 2.6, OpenRoad App server 4.1 SP3, web server IIS

 

When i start the connection to ORAS using method connect of object ORASOsessionclass it returns an error "access denied".

 

Any help is appressiated.
