No I don't think it's a syntax related problem. When I export all the
components from App2 and import them into App1 everything works fine.
Therefore somewhere there's a problem with including SCP's from another
application. Maybe a bug introduced by 2006, who knows ......
 
I'll give Pete's suggestion a go as soon as I can grab a spare 10 mins.

I have just checked,

We have four 4GL procedures in an imaged library application.

This application library is included in all our application servers.

I have no problem calling them from an eClient.

 

So something else must be wrong.

Long shot: You are not getting fooled by the generated SCP name, so you are
calling something with a wrong name.

Thanks for the input, but no I cant access the SCP's from App2. I get an
error in the log file saying that it cant find the procedure.

I’ not quite sure about this, bit I think you only see the top level SCP’s.

But you can still call the ones from the lower levels.

Hello All,

 

Using OpenROAD 2006 on XP SP2.

 

I have two applications with a number of methods that I'd like to expose to
eClient.

App1 and App2.

App1 has App2 as one of it's included applications, yet when I generate an
App Server image of App1 the App2 interfaces aren't being included.

 

Am I correct in assuming that you must have all your SCPs in the one
application or should this be considered a bug or am I missing something?
