[Openroad-users] Capturing the ErrorCode and Text from an External Object Method Call

All,

We are using an external object (in this case the MSXML4 library to do
some web interaction) and want to improve the debugging. When an
external object has an error OpenRoad manages to trap and display the
text in the trace window : -

Example:

E_WT006D The invocation of an external object method failed.

The method 'waitforresponse' for source 'msxml4.dll' returned an error

code of 80020009 and the error message:

'The operation timed out'

All I want is to store the error code and the Text that is trapped

Eg: 80020009 and "The Operation timed out"

They must be lurking in openroad somewhere (CurSession.ExternalError)
but where ?

Anybody got any pointers ?

Cheers

Gary
