Or just set a global variable pointing to the globals initialization
file within the file itself :)

Can you set an environment variable in the calling script and retrieve
it inside your application?
set GLOBAL
... -g %GLOBALS%
...
GlobalFile = CurSession.GetEnv(name = 'GLOBALS');

Anybody know a way to get the contents of the string that was
passed in via the -g parameter when an application is started? I want to
use 'call system' to start another OpenROAD application and have it
start with the same globals file.
