Hi Kim,
	If you can use the .NET framework, it is very easy.  See the
following article for details:-

This function should reside in System.dll

Make an ActiveX control as a Proxy for calling the managed code.
C++.NET can compile apps with both managed and unmanaged code.

OpenROAD app.
