Thanks Fabian,

I found out the problem caused when the Notes Window has been  minimised 
and did the following to fix it.

        notescall = CurSession.GetEnv(name = 'WW_NOTES_PATH');
        RtnStatus = WinExec(:notescall,1);

Your lines of code also been added to my procedure thus making it more 
robust.
