It is indeed a lot of frames. It might be one of the largest OpenROAD apps ever.
The product is Infor Process ERP>> http://www.infor.com/solutions/erp/processmanufacturing/
Designed for running process mfg. companies - food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc. Running all over the world. Not at NASA though.
Cheers,
Dan

I think that the whole of NASA could be run on 1300 frames. What kind of application is it?

The GUI seems to be the killer regarding OR and automated testing.
Our application is huge - 70+ images and approximately 1,300 frames not including the frames we create dynamically. Being able to run automated testing, at least for some of our app, would be very beneficial. We have test scripts written. They are run manually - tedious to say the least...
Rational Robot looks like it's worth testing.

We have built a small unit testing app in OpenROAD.
Nothing fancy, but simply a way to test c-procedures used in OpenROAD.
It could easily handle 4GL procedures and User Classes as well.
It will not handle GUI.
As said it is very basic and requires you to manually write the test for each function.
But it has proven to be a helpful.
If anyone will have a go at it I can mail you the app AS IS.
No strings attached but if you find bugs or improvements please let me know.
I have attached a screenshot, with a very depressing result ;-)
Kim

Dan,
We are currently using IBM Rational Robot to do regression testing of our OpenROAD application. Although it doesn't recognise some of the OpenROAD fields (I'm yet to raise a call with IBM), you can use a bitmap comparison which works well for exact match comparisons (you don't have to worry about floating frame position because it uses relative positioning). I noticed it has a built-in OCR tool which you may be able to use for relative comparisons (I haven't tried this yet).
You can download an evaluation copy off the IBM Rational website. I would suggest going through the tutorial to get you started.
Regards,
Steve

Does anyone have experience using automated testing tools with OpenROAD applications? Looking for suggestions on the type of tools that would work with OR or even better, specific tools that you may have had success (or failure) with.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
