Subject: Intermittent crashes.
Hi,
We are experiencing crashes of our OR app. We have just upgraded a
customer to OR2006 and they are happy crashes aside. The problem is they
happen after random numbers of repeats of application fucntions.
What we need some mechanism that will allow us to look at the global
object cache. We think we're losing memory on highly repetitive tasks
(doing something 40+times). Can we access the SCOPE object in some way?
The theory is that if we can get a look at all the 4gl objects in
memory, to understand what data types are gathering in memory and to see
what objects are around whose original scope has been destroyed etc. so
that we can identify the 'leak' in our code.
In addition I've sent the log file to Joe Kronk and we will hopefully be
able to pin-point the 'part' of OR that had the problem?!?
Thanks in advance
Paul
