Hi Larry,
We've had it before where someone's delving around in the system
catalogs (or the Archiver is off-line) and what you're really waiting on
is the database server.
Verify using IPM what status your session is in when its hanging.
Could be something simple like your RAID5 storage system is down a
couple of spindles or a sysmod is required :-)
Cheers
Gary

Hi Larry,
How long is indefinitely? Did you wait 10 min?
It may be workbench is looping building up RAM and then virtual memory
and then it will eventually crash.
Check task manager cpu / memory usage and also w4glrun.log
What patch are you on? I remember seeing this in the earlier days.
Some of the frames had weird attributes causing memory leaks in 41sp3 eg
(bug 117213) it was more noticeable when opening/closing one of the
larger frames. I think the problem had been fixed in the OpenROAD 2006
beta testing.

Hi,
Several days ago, I migrated from 4.1 to OpenRoad2006. Now, when I
try to save or delete a frame quite frequently the system hangs
indefinitely. Any ideas?
