[Openroad-users] OpenROAD Frequent Flyer Demo Release 1 now available

Hello Everyone,

The OpenROAD page on the Ingres community site has been updated with a
new structure.  It is the beginning of the publication of content that
will help us develop a new open source release of OpenROAD with the
assistance of the community.  This is a work in progress but I wanted to
make you aware of it so you could take advantage of the content as it is
published.

In particular, the first OpenROAD project - Release 1 of the OpenROAD
version of the Ingres Frequent Flyer Demo - has been posted to the
community site and has its own set of project pages.  The demo and all
source code are available for download for all platforms supported by
OpenROAD 2006.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Frequent Flyer Demo is designed to showcase new
features of OpenROAD 2006 and as such, will only install and work in an
existing OpenROAD 2006 installation.  No prior release of OpenROAD
(including 4.1) is supported.

I will be following this soon with publication of the Data Access Object
Generator ("DAOGen") project and additional development content.
