I don't know specifically h-o-w to do that in an identical method to
your description.
 
However I'd invite you to consider having an IMAP folder where e-mail is
dropped into, subsequently & automatically populating the database using
a Java service (as an example).
 
That information (then) could be retrieved from the database and
populated in a frame. The reason that a single drag and drop would be
tricky is because of E-Mail structure (it can consist of many MIME types
and contain many pieces of information, etc.).

Has anyone managed to get OpenROAD to behave as per other MS
applications and 
allow a drag and drop event ?
 
We want to be able to click on an email in Outlook, drag into over a
tablefield in a frame
and have our application insert that file as a long varchar
 
Is it possible ??
